Description
Darkroom hire Brisbane is available through the Queensland Centre for Photography (QCfP). It is offered to current members who have completed their induction. This service gives you independent access to our black and white darkroom in Brisbane.
The QCfP darkroom is fully equipped for self-directed work. It includes enlargers, trays, sinks, and other essential tools for black and white printing. As a member, you are expected to work independently and follow all health and safety guidelines.
You can book sessions from Wednesday to Saturday. Bookings must be made at least three days in advance. Sessions can be scheduled up to three months ahead.
Before booking, you must complete the required induction. This ensures that you are familiar with the space, safety procedures, and equipment. You must also bring your own photographic paper and chemicals.
Payment is made on arrival by EFTPOS or card (excluding AMEX). After you submit your booking, we will confirm your session by email.
