DARKROOM BOOKING

Please note that we can accommodate a maximum of 2 people per session. Our darkroom hire charges are calculated per person.

To book a darkroom session, you can use the online booking/inquiry system, or simply send us an email.

We understand that everyone has their own favorite chemicals that they use, hence our rental fee does not include chemicals for film processing and printing. However, we offer a range of Ilford chemicals that can be purchased separately if needed. We have developers, stop bath, fixers, washing solutions, and other products to help you achieve your desired results.

We want to make the booking process as easy as possible for you. To secure your spot in our darkroom, you can book from 3 days in advance up to 3 months. We know your time is valuable, so we hope this helps make planning a bit more convenient for you.

Payment is required upon entry, and we accept all major credit cards (excluding AMEX), Eftpos payments, or cash.

All of our darkroom consumables are available to the public at regular prices. However, members receive a discount on our products. If you’re interested in becoming a Darkroom member, please fill out the membership form and email it to us.

Membership ensures that you’re familiar with our equipment, capable of working independently in the darkroom, and aware of the health risks associated with darkroom chemicals.

Members enjoy discounted prices on film, papers, and chemicals, as well as two free hours in the darkroom with each yearly membership. 

Our membership joining fee is $99.00, and the annual renewal fee is $40.00 ($93.50/$35 for concession holders).

The hourly rate is $29.00 per hour, per person. We offer 10% concession rates to Full-time Student Cardholders and Healthcare Cardholders.
