Alex Buckingham is a highly recognized and awarded international commercial photographer who kicked off his career in London (UK) and was initially known for his skill at photographing liquid and still life. This specialization gave him the opportunity to shoot campaigns for most of the British booze and banking institutions that come to your mind; Smirnoff, Hennessy, Moet, Gordon’s, Guinness, Boddingtons, Holsten, Tetley’s, Strongbow, Carlsberg, Kellogg, Silk Cut, Lloyds, Midland, Nat West, Barclays and many more. After relocating to Queensland (Australia), Buckingham began to work extensively on location campaigns like the Great Northern Brewing Company and lifestyle images to add to his portfolio of still life images.

Buckingham has won many prestigious national and international photographic awards including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, Euro Best, Art Directors Club NY, Campaign Press, Creative Circle, AWARD and locally, BADC and others.

"WOE TO GO" with ALEX BUCKINGHAM

A 2hr practical workshop of setting up, lighting and capturing an image for an advertising campaign.

“It’s not which camera you use, it’s how you use it”, says Buckingham. The shot will be tethered to a projector, offering a clear vision for all participants.
