LIGHT, PAPER, SPACE
$550

It can’t get more simple: use a single light source and paper to understand and create space in photography.
But what sounds simple turns out to be a complex exercise.

Light Paper Space is a one-day workshop 10 am to 5 pm.
In this workshop you will use paper as your subject matter and as a tool for controlling and directing light. Light is the foundation of all photography, and we will look at its fundamental principles: hard and soft shadows, direct and indirect sources, tonal range, reflection and transparency, and more. Understanding these principles will enable you to apply them creatively: shaping and forming objects in front of your camera you will be able to explore new ways to create space in your photographs.
Inspired by teaching methods from the famous Chicago Institute of Design this workshop will take you on an experimental journey and change the way you think about photography.
Suitable for all skill levels it will inspire beginners and challenge experienced photographers.
A full refund will be given if the workshop is cancelled due to a lack of registrations, or an unforeseen circumstances caused by the Centre.
