LIGHT, PAPER, SPACE
$280

It can’t get more simple: use a single light source and paper to understand and create space in photography.
What sounds simple turns out to be a complex exercise.
It can’t get any simpler: use a single light source and paper to understand and create space in photography. But what sounds simple turns out to be a complex exercise that will take you on an experimental journey.
In a range of exercises, acclaimed still-life photographer Joachim Froese will demonstrate the scope of paper as a subject matter in photography and a medium to shape light in a studio.
Hard light, soft light, main light, fill light – the principles of studio lighting will reveal themselves in your individual creative journey through light, paper, and space.
Inspired by the famous Chicago Institute of Design this workshop will change how you think about photography. Suitable for all skill levels it will inspire beginners, and challenge experienced photographers.
The number of participants for this workshop is limited to 8 people to ensure Joachim’s individual attention to every person.
A full refund will be given if the workshop is cancelled due to a lack of registrations, Covid-19 restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances caused by the Centre.
